A taste of Westcott

Columnist samples neighborhood eats

T

here is a vibrancy to the Westcott neighborhood. And during the Westcott Street Cultural Fair, now in its 28th year, local food, live music and art expressed that sensation.

The street is one of my favorite places to eat. During the fair, I walked the streets on a lunch mission — since only Westcott and local establishments had tents at the fair, I sampled foods from Toasted, Beer Belly Deli & Pub, Mom’s Diner and Alto Cinco.

Below, find photos and descriptions of what I ate, along with audio clips of the fair ambiance as I traveled from tent to tent.
