Water pipe bursts at house on Euclid Avenue Sunday night
A water pipe burst Sunday night at 423 Euclid Ave., causing minimal damage to the two floors of the house.
The pipe burst collapsed a drop ceiling on the first floor of the house and caused water damage on the second, said Bob Cussen, Syracuse Fire Department district chief.
Cussen said he wasn’t sure why the pipe burst but that it was “probably just old.”
Four fire department vehicles responded to the scene at about 11 p.m. and left about 25 minutes later.
