Parking areas to be restricted for NCAA Tournament games Friday, Sunday
Parking areas around the Syracuse University campus will be restricted on Friday and Sunday as a result of the NCAA Tournament East Regional games in the Carrier Dome.
Access to most parking areas will be restricted three to four hours before the start time of regional, according to an SU News release. Parking space will be reserved for permit holders in the Lehman, Harrison, University Avenue Garage and Booth Garage for faculty, staff and students needing academic access, according to the release.
The first game on Friday, North Carolina State vs. Louisville, will tip off at 7:37 p.m., and University of Oklahoma and Michigan State are scheduled to tip at 10:07 p.m. The Sunday Elite Eight matchup will begin at either 2 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.
Disabled permit holders who need access to campus for class or work will be allowed to park in the area stated on the front of the permit on a space available basis, according to the release.
