Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner and Syracuse Police Department Chief Frank Fowler will promote six police officers to the rank of sergeant during a Monday ceremony.

The ceremony will take place Monday at 10 a.m. in the lobby of the Public Safety Building at 511 S. State St., according to an SPD release.  The officers to receive promotions are as follows: Susan Izzo, Brian Lutz, David Metz, Donald Patti, Sean Ryan and Julie Shulsky, according to the release.
